Customer Focus: Centra Industries, Inc.

Abraham Lincoln once said, “Give me six hours to cut down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”  At ALS, we took this idea of smart preparation and turned it into a reality
for one of our customers, Centra Industries, Inc.  We utilized a smart packaging software system, which allowed us to provide a visual diagram of the truck and show the location of each crate and where it should be loaded on the truck.

Using smart packaging software, we were able to provide Centra with a detailed diagram showing exactly how their freight would be loaded.

Through this software, we were able to go above and beyond their expectations for planning their shipments.  This ensured that all parties were on the same page and that no small detail was missed in the order process.   In the possible event that an issue did arise, we can revert to the diagram and resolve any problems easily.  Most customers don’t ask for a full diagram of the location of each shipment piece, so Centra loved that we were able to go above and beyond their expectations.

Centra was ecstatic about our ability to show such foresight, commenting that all the planning we put into the project freight was extremely valuable. The primary reason they use ALS frequently is that we make managing their freight easy for them. They plan to continue coming to us first because they know they can trust that we will always look out for their best interests.
